On Saturday and Sunday, 14, 15 May 2011, Casa Guidi took part in ‘Amico Museo’ an event promoted by Regione Toscana. Casa Guidi was opened to the public and, on Sunday morning, two guided tours were organized. Saturday afternoon was dedicated to children. About twenty children were invited to play with the ‘The Pied Piper of Hamelin’. They were told the story and then they were asked to dress up as rats. With the help of two elder children playing the role of the Mayor of Hamelin and the Piper, the fairy tale was put on. At the end of the performance, all enjoyed an afternoon snack in the Casa Guidi kitchen.
